Title: Food's planetary environmental impacts and an integrated solution

From data on 40,000 farms in 120 countries, I will explore a solution to food's staggering toll on the Earth. Mandatory environmental labels - displaying emissions, pesticide toxicity, water use, and impact on biodiversity - would make producers accountable for their impacts; support effective taxes and subsidies, and drive the essential transition away from meat and dairy.
