CCLS at COP24 Katowice - engaging with youth, speakers & following the negotiations

COP24 CCLS Climate Change

CCLS has attended COP24 in Katowice, Poland, to see how the negotiations are developing in order to create the 'Rule Book' for implementing the Paris Agreement.

We have caught up with previous CCLS speakers like Anthony Hobley (who now has his own climate Youtube channel, Green & Tonic), as well as Professor Kevin Anderson and Saleemul Huq.

CCLS chair, Dr Hugh Hunt, also spoke to physicist, oceanographer and TV broadcaster, Dr Helen Czerski, about how this is unfolding, Arctic experiences and how satellite data is helping everyone down here on Earth:

Rafe Pomerance in conversation with Dr Hugh Hunt

This is part 1 of the discussion between Dr Hugh Hunt and Rafe Pomerance, talking about the unravelling Arctic climate and what that means for global climate stability going forward. Rafe also outlines a 4 point plan of action that should be implemented immediately.
